Front office coordinator

A private Audiology and Hearing Practice in the Brooklyn, NY area is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to assist with the front office and represent our practice with professionalism. The hours are Monday & Thursday – 10AM-3PM, Tuesday and Wednesday – 10AM – 6PM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Handle patient calls and effectively manage schedule.
• Contact patients to confirm appointments.
• Handle heavy call volume.
• Greet patients immediately upon their arrival and provide excellent customer service.
• Managing the daily schedule.
• Day-to-day administrative tasks.
• Maintenance of office equipment as needed.
Position Qualifications:
• High School Diploma required. 2 years front office experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Must be computer literate in all Microsoft Office programs. Quick Books or accounting system experience is a plus.
• Must be able to work well independently and be detailed-oriented.
• Must be able to multi-task and handle a fast- paced environment.
