Family Office - Accounting Manager

Description

The principals of a $1.5 billion Manhattan based hedge fund are looking for an individual who can perform accounting and record keeping for their personal investments. WFH is not a problem and may continue, to some degree, indefinitely.

The responsibilities will include:
Tracking cash flows to and from private limited partnerships,
Tracking tax documentation of these investments,
Personal accounting and budgeting,
Tracking and managing charitable giving,
Some personal bill payment,
Managing the payroll service used for domestic staff,
Preparation of documentation for income taxes.

Other responsibilities will include (<20% of time, during WFH probably <10%):

- Ordering office supplies & other ad hoc purchase requests
- Keeping track of receipts for supplies and for principals’ expenses
- Liaising with building management and vendors
These tasks are minimal now during WFH.

The position may also evolve into responsibilities that will assist the firm in tracking performance data, portfolio composition and other important data that is recorded for the firm’s funds.
Compensation is very competitive and commensurate with skills and experience.
