Full Job Description

Prepare financial statements for both internal and external constituents
Oversee accounting team and train staff on business finance issue
Manage annual audit and monthly review process
Manage the processing of daily and weekly cash activity
Manage accounts payable and account receivable balance and process
Maintain general ledger
Communicate with other employees to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information
Ability to support and or spearhead finance department process improvement initiatives which may have a cross functional impacts and require company-wide change
Ensure quality control over all banking and financial transactions
Refine business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Ensure all invoicing is accurate and timely
Ensure all customer accounts are reconciled and all open issues resolved on a monthly basis
Ensure positive cash flow through adequate and thorough weekly collections processes
Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including payroll accruals, bank reconciliations, credit card receipt reconciliation, loan reconciliation, credit card purchases, sales commissions payable, etc.
Ongoing review of company’s internal control procedures
Monitor company’s capital improvement related activities and compile bank draws
Maintain internal audit controls to ensure that all collections and disbursements are in full compliance. Perform random audits of daily receipts and retail operations
Work with outside accounting firm of year-end review providing any detail requested
Manage all bank accounts and intercompany transfers of funds
Review and approve payroll
Perform random inventory check to ensure perpetual inventory in place properly
Manage and negotiate annual insurance policy renewal for all locations
Prepare statutory and compliance-related filings
Ensures accurate and timely month-end and year end close.
Reconcile all accounts prior to month end
Prepare monthly Sales Tax Returns

Pay: $75,000 -$85,000 per year
