Audit Support Team Coordinator
To ensure prompt and efficient written communications with auditing team staff, clients, and hospital providers.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES:
Must be able to learn and become familiar with the documents included in an inpatient medical record. Must have had experience or exposure to hospital billing forms and claims.
Ability to learn and apply HIPAA privacy and security regulations for protected health information
Must be able to learn effective communication with hospital departments.
Experience is required with Microsoft products including Excel, Microsoft products, Outlook, and Word, and ability to learn and work with customized operating systems.
Excellent business communication and organizational skills are required.
Self-starter, willing to take on multiple tasks.
Can make self-determined judgements to determine priorities and know when to collaborate with team and / or escalate up to Director for support.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and written in a concise and goal- oriented manner.
